🎯 Key responsibilities

As Salon Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our salon’s success. Your key duties include:

• 👥 Lead and inspire the beauty team — manage stylists, therapists, and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service
• ⭐ Own the guest experience — ensure every client receives a warm welcome and leaves feeling pampered and valued
• 📅 Manage salon operations — oversee appointments, rotas, and daily workflows for maximum efficiency
• 💰 Drive revenue and sales targets — monitor performance, upsell services and products, and achieve business goals
• 📊 Stock and inventory management — maintain product levels, place orders, and control costs
• 🧹 Maintain salon standards — ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and health & safety compliance at all times
• 🤝 Handle guest feedback — resolve complaints professionally and turn every guest into a loyal client
• 📈 Report on salon performance — track KPIs, analyse trends, and present insights to ownership
• 🎓 Train and develop the team — identify skill gaps, mentor staff, and foster a culture of continuous improvement

✅ What we are looking for

We’re looking for a dynamic leader who lives and breathes the beauty industry. You will need:

• 💇‍♀️ Proven salon management experience — minimum 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a salon or spa environment
• 👥 Strong leadership skills — ability to motivate, manage, and develop a diverse beauty team
• ⭐ Passion for guest experience — committed to delivering five-star service and building client loyalty
• 💰 Commercial awareness — experience driving sales, managing budgets, and achieving revenue targets
• 📊 Organisational excellence — able to manage rotas, stock, appointments, and reporting with ease
• 🤝 Exceptional communication skills — confident dealing with guests, team members, and senior management
• 🎓 Beauty industry qualifications — NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in beauty therapy, hairdressing, or related field (preferred)
• 💻 IT literate — comfortable with salon booking systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
• 🦺 Knowledge of health & safety regulations — including COSHH and salon hygiene standards
