🎯 Key responsibilities
- 🛁 Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- 🚶 Support clients with mobility and daily routines, encouraging independence where possible
- 🍽️ Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- 📋 Maintain accurate care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences
- 💬 Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly environment
- 💊 Assist with medication management as per care plans (training provided if necessary)
- 📝 Document observations and report any concerns regarding clients’ health or wellbeing
- 🤝 Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
✅ What we are looking for
We are looking for compassionate, dedicated professionals ready to make a real difference. You will need:
- 🩺 Nursing qualification (essential — this role is only open to candidates with a nursing background)
- 💚 Previous experience in a care home or home care setting (advantageous but not essential; full training provided)
- 📋 Good organisational skills to follow care plans accurately
- 🗣️ Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- 💻 Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating care documentation
- ❤️ Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
