🎯 Key responsibilities
- 👥 Support the leadership and management of the home; deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
- 📋 Take the lead on report writing, care plans, risk assessments and multi-agency meetings (with direction)
- ❤️ Assist in providing an emotionally secure, consistent, caring and supportive environment for the young people in our care
- 🤝 Develop positive relationships with young people, their families and external agencies
- 📈 Receive ongoing training and practical experience as part of your continuing professional development toward Registered Manager level
✅ What we are looking for
We are looking for a passionate, experienced professional ready to make a real difference. You will need:
- 🎓 Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children’s & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
- ⏱️ Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a children’s residential care setting
- 🖥️ Good IT and admin skills; strong ability to interact with a range of young people and professionals
- 🧠 Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour
- 🏠 Experience in a multi-occupancy home setting (preferred)
- ♿ Experience supporting children with Learning Disabilities (preferred)
- 🔄 Flexibility to work shifts — days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- 🚗 Full UK driving licence (essential)
- 📅 Must be aged 21 or over to meet industry regulations

🟢 This role qualifies for a UK Skilled Worker visa. The annual salary of £35,000–£40,000 meets the going rate threshold set by the Home Office.

💷 Salary & hours
